I always view feedback as a gift. So, when Rhonda, the Tosa Medical Toastmasters president, brought up that other clubs were using QR codes to quickly give online feedback, I was hooked. We can stop taking pictures of written paper forms and store evaluations online directly.

Modernizing Pathways Feedback

The QR code links directly to the online feedback form in Pathways—Toastmasters’ learning management software. This organizes evaluation notes and makes them easily referrable for speakers in the future as they work through their educational paths.

For those who join us online in our hybrid format, they can access the feedback form right away from the website.

Two-Sided Table Tents

I thought table tents would be a great way to let folks interact during our in-person meetings. So I threw together a design that includes:

  • Front side: A clear QR code for members and attendees to submit instant speech feedback.
  • Back side: A link and QR code for guests to easily sign up as prospective members if they like what they see.

Looking Ahead

We’ll see how it goes in practice, but I’m really looking forward to a more connected, seamless online feedback experience for both our in-person and remote members.
